A Beautiful February Day Poem by Francis Duggan

A Beautiful February Day

Rating: 5.0

In the sunny blue sky not a cloud of gray
And the silver gulls mewing above the sunlit bay
And above the scrub by the foreshore white butterflies play
It is such a beautiful February day
A rumbling sound that is forever more
Huge surf waves splashing on the rocks of the shore
The saltwater spray so refreshing on the face
So nice for to visit such a beautiful place
A nice poem on this a poet would feel inspired to write
For lovers of poetry to read and recite
People swim and relax and on the beach lay
Earthly Utopia from here cannot be far away
The day it is warm and breezy and dry
And not a gray cloud in the sunny blue sky.

strikingly vivid and wonderfully colorful. Here we're still under a ton of ice and snow, so loved the write. Warmed up the air just a little. A pleasant bit of sunshine on a cold and starry night. Tyfs.
