A Better Time
Today is ravaged
and I am afraid
for our tomorrow
I hear the voice of the wind
and I am plunged into doubt
I do not know how the future stands
Violence has led us astray
in vengeance we find solace
we are caught in a bloody relay
we pay tribute to ignorance
we fail to believe that
our tomorrow will be good.
