A Billion Lights. Poem by Red Skye

A dream I thought would never come true,
is all here in my hands,
so let me light a fire in those eyes.

its not over now so stand with me and
let my world set fire to the night.
a billion lights burning so bright.
the stars so high looking down on you and I.
the world is a turning around while im standing safe on the ground.

a billion lights just for you.
the sky alight with the hope you'll be safe tonight.
look for a billion lights and you'll be alright.

if this world was burning you'd be the only one to notice as the
billion lights are all just for you.
I want you here with me as the lights go out.
hold me tight and never loose your way.

I wish I could take you to the stars,
you'd be one in a million.
I wish you were next to me as the spark ignites the light of the world.

the lights grow cold and my heart longs for you.
I cant fight this feeling for you next to me.

so let the lights shine high into the night and let the billion lights reach for you.
