A Bit Like You Poem by Louva Leslie Merrill

A Bit Like You

"Fill me with Your Spirit, Lord," I plead.
but what have I to do?
Just sacrifice possession of my soul,
(the "me" I own)
And give my all to You! Give to You my praise forever,
No matter what comes from above,
Make You the center of my life
(You the center of ALL truth,)
And strengthen my will, my faith, my love. Thank You for Your wondrous grace
And the power Your will to do,
To advance Your Word another step,
And be a bit like You.
