A man and his wife lived in a box
On the corner of 5th and 6th streets
They were a very odd couple
The man never left the box
The woman, every now and then, would have a flower blooming in her grass
They were always together
Never to leave one another
Occasionally a car would drive past
But no one ever said hello
Then, one day, a grey slab was put in their yard
Curious as to what the slab said
A young man walked up to it and read
'Here lies husband and wife'
