Misty days and silhouettes,
Of trees across the open fields,
Blackbirds on the ground in search,
Of worms to eat for tasty meals,
Robin scurries in the grass,
Through hedgerow flies,
This frosty morn,
This is nature's winter scene,
A brand new day,
A brand new dawn.
