A Bubble Gum Under My Shoe Poem by Kirstine Rombaoa

A Bubble Gum Under My Shoe

In an ordinary day, something came out of the blue.
A pink nasty bubblegum was stucked under my shoe.
Too weak to get it off but still I got out a few.
I looked up, infront of me was someone I don't know who.

He sat, got my shoe up and do what he have to do.
Using a stick, he pulled out the bubblegum under my shoe.
He stood up, smiled at me like I was someone he knew.
I smiled a little then I felt something crazily new.

He was as annoying as the fading sweetness of a bubble gum I chew.
He is loud, slow, stupid and really cute too.
I was a frowny emo girl who changed but never had a clue.
He was the one who taught me to get out of that loo

Not only did he help me with the bubblegum stucked under my shoe.
He also pulled off the bitterness of me and put something new.
He's my bestfriend who knows me like he was in my shoe.
Since the day he moved the bubble gum under my shoe.
