A Castle Of Dreams Poem by Sharon Washburn Flynn

A Castle Of Dreams

I am the castle
and you are the dream.
I see your face as a cloud
at the dawning of twilight.
It is you I behold.
It is you I prepare my heart for.
Come dwell within this heart,
sit upon my throne.
For I await your presence
even as the trees capture
the glow of all that you are.

Hear these walls call out your name,
for they need their king.
How beautiful is the light
that filters through the leaves
and crowns the castle that dwells within.
When the dark hour of loneliness
invades our sacred place,
your love sends the darkness
into the vast sky of only you.
Then I dream and call you back...
back to the castle, back to me.

~~And, you are no longer just a dream.~~
