A Closer Moon - Poem by richard belis

if i can pull the moon closer,
just once pull it closer to earth,
so me and my love can stare at its beauty,
i'll get my little rope and reel it in,
i'll let my love walk on the moon,
I'll take pictures and ill run and hold her,
ever so closely to me closer then ever,
we'll make love on the moon,
the loss of gravity will make us float,
and we'll look at each other in the sky,
so cold and high, we'll be holding each other,
until to moon moves again up high....

I adore this one. It's such a magical idea that everyone wishes could come true! (Report) Reply
