A Cold Place

Upon the snowy field
The fallen quietly lie
Upon the snowy field
A cold place to die

During the frozen night
The fallen silently lay
During the frozen night
A cold time to die

Among the fires and roar
These fallen lived and fought
Among the fires and roar
A grim way to die

In this solemn field
The fallen still lie
In this silent field
A lonely place to die
