A Connection Poem by TracyLee Eckstein

A Connection

Rating: 5.0

No sweet nothings,
No fake roses, no physical attractions,
No mis-understandings
No lack of communicating

My communication
Goes beyond any words that could ever spoken,
For all I want to hear is the every breath you take,
With my head on your chest every beat your heart makes,
And by looking into each others' eyes our minds must connect.

Our connection
Must go beyond any physical attraction,
And beyond any lustful distraction,
It must balanced be between mental,
And emotional.

A connection where looks don't matter,
Where faults make the good qualities even better
Where each one is the other one's strength,
Where breaking up is never a solution,
Where we can come to the conclusion,
That eternity is this connection's length.

Nice poem. Even better message. unfortunately we live in a world where not many people practise what your poem talks about. and even some that say they do only say so to get what they want, and don't really mean it.
