A Cow Visit Poem by Marilyn Lott

A Cow Visit

Rating: 4.5

It was a lovely afternoon
When I took a little stroll
Across the green pasture
And over a slight knoll.

All the cows stopped chewin'
And stared at me as I walked
Thought I'd hang around awhile
And we could have a little talk.

It was one of those kinda days
When I was in no big hurry
Nothing I really had to do
Didn't have a single worry.

Later I told them I'd be back
They didn't have much to say
But I sure did enjoy my visit
With the cows this summer day.

Sweet and simple, taking a moment to wander!
