A Death Wish Poem by Emily Veasman

A Death Wish

Rating: 4.8

I sit on the bed waiting in silence,
As death keeps me still and quiet,
As I wait for death, I wish it in silence,
As God comes for me,
I close my eyes and quickly lay quiet,
I wait for the right moment when everyone is silent,
I cut deep into my flesh and laugh,
“I told you I couldn’t wait to be in your arms.”

I adore the last line. It like sums it all up. It's short but i love it a lot. A really good poem 10/10 -Tyease
