A Defiant Soul.ver II

Oh Fate I will not be bound by thee
mine path shall not be dictated by circumstance
I will raise a banner of rebellion against thee.
Though flawed, imperfect and fallible I may be
My heart and soul are a pure fire that will not be quelled by thee

fate I stand against thee,
like light from oft high in storm clouded sea
though the storm may rage around me
I will remain unmoved by thee

though fool I may be I will fight thee
with the fire of my soul
it is a blade which cannot break
fate you are a dragon and I shall slay thee

poet William Butler Yeats

WINE comes in at the mouth
And love comes in at the eye;
That's all we shall know for truth
Before we grow old and die.
I lift the glass to my mouth,
