A Desolate World Poem by Megs Yea

A Desolate World

A desolate world
As a white blanket covers the Earth
Everything goes into hibrination until warmth comes to return.
Busy cities rush through the cold as they begin for their busiest season.
Trees await for the warmth to reach out to them once again to regain life.
A desolate world
As the white blanket begins to melt
The warmth comes back as promised and brings life back to the sleeping giants of the Earth.
Busy cities begin to calm as the current of people begins to slow.
A new life begins in a new year in a new world as the beginning is refreshed with a new page in the never-ending book of life.
