A Dialogue Of The Woodwinds - Poem by Priscilla Hong

Listen to the enchanting dialogue of the woodwind instruments
And fathom their communing with the Muses

The flute in decorous tone hums
The clarinet whistles replies in elegance;

The oboe sings in soprano
The bassoon in its sober voice reciprocates;

The horn bellows in majestic note
The basset horns respond in demureness

Oh hark the glamorous team creating a mystical symphony
In this rapturous woodwind soirée.
