A Dove (Sonnet) Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

A Dove (Sonnet)

Rating: 5.0

A dove of peace of purest white,
My heart attends with gentle eyes:
In crystal-blue—myself in sight;
And souls by whiteness magnetised!
Along with it, I dreamt to fly
Far, high above the distant lands,
Among the moon and starry sky,
By dawn to dance on milky clouds.
Pure paradise our life to be,
With lovely words of heart to speak,
The hymns of love on echoes sea,
With no ache in our hearts to weep;
On feather I shall send my kiss:
That was a dream—a dream of bliss!
