A Dream Poem by Vishal Vijay

A Dream

Rating: 5.0

In my dream,
I heard the water lapping.
Down the stream,
I heard someone crying.

Jumped into the river,
Hoping the current would take me somewhere.
Floated here and there,
Trapped in a drop of water.

Soon I saw the fight I had before,
The words that I spoke,
The ruins made and,
The bruises caused.

Trapped in a drop,
A drop of tear.
Was in a river,
A river of tear.

Boomed In my ears,
The words of ignorance,
Which I used against her,
To shed her tears.

Soon I saw my doom,
Down the stream.
Her round face ends,
And I shall perish.

The time froze,
My mind raced.
It was time to rise,
Or I would die.

A drop of tear,
Escaped from my eyes,
And fell on her tear,
That engulfed my soul.

It was all over,
I was awake.
And it was time,
To make things right.

Listen to me dear,
It is all over.
Trust me without fear,
I Love You forever.
