The Daisy Heart Poem by Vishal Vijay

The Daisy Heart

Rating: 5.0

Aren't we on a sweet little odyssey,
You got to hold on to your crystal daisies.
You must and need to save the petals,
From falling and getting stamped among these hurdles.

On this journey you will see it blooming,
Other days you may see it dying.
But never let it slip out of your hands,
Or you will perish on this barbarous land.

Keep her under your shade,
Develop her along the road.
Make her stronger on the way,
She'll never betray.

She gives you hope,
Provides will and power.
She'll be an invisible robe,
Drives you higher.

The daisy will hold you tight as you hold her back.
Will never let you down until you do it back.
One day you'll understand that was you.
The carpels, stamen and ovary were you.

You'll see yourself in her,
A stronger you than you have ever heard.
That is your heart my dear,
Never let her die in here.

Let her loose,
Go on a chase.
Lead her with your sense,
And you will find the essence.
