A Dream Come True Poem by Davina Vanessa Rivas

A Dream Come True

Holding you close in my arms is a dream comes true
Talking and laughing by the fire
Never wanting to let go
How the night seems to be short
Days are longer but we can’t wait to be in each other arms
Laying close to the fire listening to music
Letting the beat take control of us
Talking nonsense half the time
Wishing the morning will never come
Wanting to dance under the moon and the stars
Letting our spirits fly or swore through the night sky
Imagining are hearts running next to the wolf pack
A home we know will never leave us
But sitting here with you I feel complete
Morning please never come
For this night is sure a dream come true
