can you hear us falling?
i'm falling faster.
its hard to remember
what we've been chasing after.

and i know, i will be here forever
and you can't come to face that can you?

i'm sorry but i am afraid.
for every friend who comes my way
i can't let them get close to me
i can't let them see
what you already see.

and now that i've told you
almost all the truth
what do i get back from you?
do you have secrets too?

because i lay awake
i'm not sick, i faked it
i'm just scared.
i'm not prepared.

this isn't acceptance
i'm still on the fence.
i don't know which path to take
and i've just gotta stop this headache.
