She’ll come back
Give her some time
It’s a fact
She’s still mine
She’ll return to me
With open arms
She still loves me
And all my charm
She can’t resist
What can I say
She loves my kiss
And anyway
She’d never really leave for good
At least that’s what I understood
Though I haven’t seen her in quite a while
To be away this long is not her style
Maybe just maybe I could be wrong
She’s not returned to sing my song
Perhaps just perhaps she loves me not
Has walked away and has forgot
About me and the love I need
In my own hunger and in my own greed
Did I forsake her and her seed
Without water and without feed
Did she find somebody new
and if so, I wonder who
Have I lost my only trure
A Fool A Fool A Fool So Blue
Very touching poem..........My humble Salutations to the poet............
Dee, I appreciate your concern, but this is not a factual poem, I am a writer and write about all sorts of situations, rarely do they pertain to me personally. I just like to write and be as creative as possible..., and besides if this were a true poem, I'd have an awful lot of explaining to do with the man in my life! Thanks for your in put, much appreciated. Thanks, SuzieQ
Susie, very nice.....! ! ! It's funny, but I have a great song that my co-writer and I wrote and recorded titled, 'A Fool Is a Fool Is A Fool', which will soon be in one of my forthcoming CDs. Best, T.M..
