A Game Called Love Poem by THEODORE CARLTON III

A Game Called Love

A game you play that has no rules,
has no pieces, has no tools.
A game with no strategy and no sort of plot,
A game you cant just close up and stop.
A game where luck plays a huge part,
If your an unlucky person well, hold on to your heart.
A game you don't decide to play,
Over one hundred million people play everyday.
A game that gives you no chance to fight,
A game that keeps you up in wee hours of the night.
A game where muscle has no effect,
A game that has grown men sitting in corners upset.
A game everyone plays and very few win,
And no matter how many times we lose we play it again.
A game that takes over our mind, body, and soul,
This game's been here forever and never gets old.
Sometimes you give up say ' i quit you win.'
But this game's not like that you play to the end.
This game is heaven sent so its sent from up above,
This is a game, a game called love....
