A Girl And A Prostitute Poem by Kamal Narayan Baruah

A Girl And A Prostitute

Rating: 5.0

In the dark.....amidst the dark!
In the past.......deep inside my past!
What do I see....what I've been through...
What i lost....what i'm still loosing.....
Time drained life.....and m myselves questioning
M I still alive....my brain's wondering...? ? ? ?
What do you need to call a body alive i.e. Living
Flesh and bone with a pounding heart and a mouth which is breathing....
But with a mind which once alive now stopped living.....
Sitting on the roof....watching the dark sky...
Getting drawned in the painful moments of life...
An innocent girl with lots of dreams on mind...
With all dreams killed....every moment tortured...
Lying on the floor....with blade's on hand moving
Blood's oozing....but it's not paining...
The pain in the heart slowly decreasing...
Mind's starting to get free.....tears stopped rolling...
Heart stopped pounding....mind stopped thinking....
On that red light district a body's lying....
A body once alive, sensitive n loving

So sad! Really, it happens and there are a few who feel this tragedy.
