A Girl Named Sandy Poem by Projeeta Ghosh Biswas

A Girl Named Sandy

Rating: 5.0

A girl named Sandy lost her candy
While playing with her favourite rag doll,
She went downstairs and took a deep breath
And started to cry in the hall.

Her twenty-two servants, her five nannies
Even her parents came down.
She told her about the lost candy,
then she folded her hands and gave a frown.

Some of them went upstairs, while some in the pantry,
Everyone scattered in the house,
But everyone found everything except the candy,
Even an old, rusted toy mouse.

Sandy started to panic
Then finally settled herself on a couch,
She slips her hand inside her sac for a tissue,
She found nothing but the candy in the pouch.
