A Great Teacher Poem by Francis Duggan

Nature is a great teacher despite what some of her does say
And from her new lessons for to learn every day
But the more we learn of her the more we realize
That of her we know little this not a surprise
Nature remains the World's number one super power
From a tiny seed she can create a beautiful flower
And from her Mother Earth's bosom she grows a majestic tree
And unlike us Nature is one of immortality
And as part of Nature us humans to Mother Earth belong
Though such an opinion many would say is all wrong
Billions of people believe in their god in the sky
And the god of Nature see fit to deny
Nature has her own rules and lives in her own way
And to her Earth Mother we all will return one day.
