A Hundred Thousand Miles To Walk Poem by Heath Gunn

A Hundred Thousand Miles To Walk

Rating: 5.0

A flightless bird, a prisoner,
a runner with no shoes.
A hundred thousand miles to walk,
on feet all burned and bruised.
The world an open field to trek,
all linked by oceans wide.
With people scattered all about,
all on lifes great ride.
