A Judge Of Character Poem by ARSHAJ GAIKWAD

A Judge Of Character

Your confidence smiles in sunlight,
Just the way you walk.
Augmented to sky’s heights,
The moment you talk.
And then you turn around,
A smile those jaws unlock.
As you see life ticking on your wrist,
You are miles ahead of your clock.

Don’t wonder what’s in the day ahead,
It comes soon enough.
And you extend your helping hand,
To the things you feel are tough.
Then turn around and vanish,
After someone’s out of the rough.
Coz thanks might rob you of,
The goodness you know enough.

And never ever turn your back upon,
A friend who needs you to stay.
He’ll thank you for this gesture,
Maybe some another day.
Don’t grab the thing you love the most,
Let go, after your say.
Ain’t the force that determines your strength,
Its your ability to walk away….! ! !

arshaj...i loved the last two lines...i too believe it is best to walk away with determination from something that has the power to ignite uncontrollable emotions in you...the pull will destroy not bcuz of 'it' but bcuz of 'you'...great thoughts well put...the third line goes off beat since you tried to rhyme...you do need to tighten and revise it...love...nalini
