Graveyard Of Thoughts Poem by ARSHAJ GAIKWAD

Graveyard Of Thoughts

I smile at myself,
At the mirror which shows me,
All those merry old thoughts,
As they race back towards me.
A world just like mine,
Through it, I see,
Yet my curiosity never ends,
To know, in there, how could it be!

Out here, its just cold,
As cold as snow clad fields,
Through the heat of my soul,
I melt, but the ice doesn't yield.
They, thus, never reach you,
These thoughts, as they silently,
Lie deep in their graves,
There are so many lives to save.

I'm so eager to shatter this wall,
And pour them all over,
But then its nothing that they would do,
So I keep them under cover.
For the good of those who are good,
And the good of the bad,
I stay calm and light as ever,
Just like another lad.

So here they are,
And here they shall be,
But then, they are always,
With me, you see.
I wonder where this strength comes from,
I wonder how they rest in peace,
If its the wisdom of the ALMIGHTY GOD,
I wonder, if its just me...!
