A Letter To My Dearest Dad Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

A Letter To My Dearest Dad

Rating: 4.5

A Letter To My Dearest Dad,
a posthumous letter

for my most precious Dad
Congratulations to you dear Dad
on your Greatest Day
on my own way

it's your BirthDay!

all flowers bloom
completely
the sun gets hot
today
spring has come anyway

so many words still left in my heart
we used to talk very cozily
about arts and poetry
endless nights

since you left
we feel bereft
it has been the biggest theft
in our precious life

felicitations to you dear Dad
on 21 March
we are still very sad
