A Letter Without The Dear Poem by Not Long Left

A Letter Without The Dear

Rating: 5.0

As earth hardens as winter arrives
A grey spillage stains the skies.

As hearts harden when love dies
A dark longing fills our heavy eyes.

As time trawls down its endless path
We wait for the return of the missing half

As pains soften and seep into memory
The tortured captive heart is set free.

More hopeful than lament. Soothing. Reassuring. Very nice. -T. Bell
