A Little Girl



A little girl sits in the playground alone.
The others just whisper and stare.
Her mind is too numb to care anymore,
and her cheek doesn't notice the tear.

She remembers the days of sunshine and fun,
as childhood lives should be;
But that was before her nightmare began,
Which others were too blind to see.

And now it's too late, the innocence gone,
the trust and love turned to fears.
He told them she lied. Why?
The little girls head dropped in tears....
