A Long Road Poem by Shanaaz Waldien

A Long Road

Life is so strange
With almost nothing to gain
The sun shining on my face
Why is this such a long race?
A never ending highway
Still, not much to say
Eyelids heavy with tears
Filled with so many fears
Easier to hide my tears with the rain
Never to show my pain
Still so far to go
Which turn do I take?
I don't know.

Very cool...but I think the rhymes limited the emotions you wanted to pour out into the poem....
