A Loss I Will Not Forget Poem by Mary Polachek

A Loss I Will Not Forget

Rating: 5.0

In the struggles of sibling rivalry
Screaming, and shouting to get a
temporary want.
At times feelings grow so cold in
A way forgiveness seems not at hand.
Then evening comes and all is forgotten
to meet another day.
Another challenge another struggle,
Feelings of foe gets in the way.
Growing separately, structured with
different hopes,
Difference of opinions, learning
how to cope
Ageing gracefully, small children
come into life,
no longer is there fighting or
feelings of strife
Tragedy hits___when no one expects;
an accident takes a life I will not
forget___my brother....
