A Love In Silence Poem by Wilma De Guzman

A Love In Silence

In the solitude of the night we hide
Amidst the rumblings of the world outside
Quietly, we share our hearts desire
Discreetly, those moments only us to sire
Our love we know is bold and strong,
Weaves in a ray of gold we belong
In disguises and small gestures,
Our passions only ours to venture
In the abyss of loneliness sometimes,
I would like to fly and be with you at times
To shower each bodies of lust we cried
In the secret crevices our hungers satisfied
In stolen interludes our lives are meant
And pauses of intimacies are all spent,
In silence we share an embrace so tight
In silence we see the future so bright!

This is a poem I am inspired to write because of an onscreen couple who hides their dating and/or relationship status from the public eye. But eventough they are in secret they make it a point to throw hints and clues which their loyal fans are able to unearth.
