A Love Poem
Out of the silence of the night
And the stillness of my own loneliness
I write a love poem to God
Who does not need my love- poem
Nor my prayer
And this love poem wishes to say thank You
For my life
For my having made it this far
And thank You for the people who have been with me
And thank You for being the one Hope I know
To make there be something after the end
That somehow redeems us all.
A beautiful morning prayer remembering God for his glory and goodness each morning. Thank-you.
