Destiny brought us together
But played a trick on us.
It threw us in the middle of a maze,
To figure our way out.
We passed through this maze together,
Making all the wrong turns,
Coming up against dead ends,
Feeling like there is no way out.
It posed a challenge for us,
And we worked through each one of them,
Determined to come out alive,
To tell our story,
To go on and on for generations to come,
To be immortal through the people that would carry our story.
Like Shakespeare who carried Romeo and Juliet’s story.
But our story will be special and unique
We would not die for love,
But instead one of the greatest things that anyone can possibly have,
A love to live for.

This has some lovely thoughts but I had to giggle when you said “Coming up against dad ends. I thought, Ah yes, and I hope she means that Dad had a hand in guiding her. Adeline
