A Marriage-Day Prayer Poem by Dr John Celes

Lord, bless our marriage with your grace divine
And let your love enter our hearts and minds;
Lord, guide and help us live a righteous life,
And may our wedding stand the test of time.

God, lead us through our earthly maze of strife,
And may we live as per thy living Word;
Preserve love, peace and harmony at home,
And let our vows remain steadfast till death.

Lord, may our nuptial bond remain sacred
And may we emulate your life on earth;
God, keep the devils fettered back in hell,
And may we keep our bodies, minds, souls well!
