A Marriage Made In Heaven

When God brings together,
Two people in a marriage,
He encourages,
Many things along the way.
To never be afraid,
Of the steps,
That are directed by Him.
Fellowship daily,
Be in a hurry for nothing,
And always open to learning,
One another,
Have much prayer,
Lots of patience,
For this is necessary,
To have a marriage of greatness.
Know the time for fruitfulness,
As well as gentleness,
And always be prepared,
For a lesson in forgiveness.
Keep in mind one another's feelings.
Be willing to give all that,
You can possibly give,
Doing all this,
Will help faithfulness.
Especially when you realize,
The best part of a great union,
Is having your life long,
Friend for all eternity.
These are some of the keys,
For a marriage made in Heaven.

    A lovely piece indeed. FAITH KEEPS THOSE WHO KEEP THE FAITH - BY MOTHER TERESA. Marriage by two persons that love each, when anchored on total submission to the WILL OF GOD, will experience security and bliss never before imagined. Kudos! Thanks for sharing and do keep it up.     Tameeka;
Thank you for this most beautiful poem. It is so descriptive of my union with my God given spouse, angel, best friend, and eternal companion-my husband William. God guided me to come to this poem and you made my heart swell. me and my husband also live for God as do you-it shows in you-and God has assured us that we will always be as one-me and my husband-here and in eternity. We knew that already but every time I am reminded of it my heart swells even more.

Thank you and God Bless you for this; I will keep a copy always. (Report) Reply

I am the only being whose doom

I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
