A....Memorial's Day....Consensus - 2018

America's threatened future, one not of terroristic invasions by foreign sources, but of domestic hoodlums hellbent on destroying the inclusionary fabric of American society. SCOTUS, by virtue of its "1989 Flag Burning Decision" granted "the right to disrespect the Flag; " enter the NFL's contradictory insistence on officially ignoring that edict, by specifically requiring that all sideline personnel show "respect" by standing during the Anthem; the Black athlete, caught in the middle, kneeling, simply praying to the Universe that a smidgen of respect be shown to his kindred humankind; a simple respect centuries deliberately denied; And, an insensitive President, corrupt, both morally and figuratively, co-opting this hapless portrait, in some sinister plot of cryptic anarchy, whose apparent sole intent and purpose is fueling the dissonant flame of racial animosity.

Domestic, hoodlum activity, hellbent on destroying the inclusionary fabric....of American society!
