A Mid Summer Night Dream - Poem by Venkatesh M. R.

Poverty, corruption and hostility
Rampant in society
When a humble man look back
As from four corners they attack.

In the heat of the societies summer
Honest man sweat profusely
Since he stands for something
Which instead of rising is falling.

His dream has turned into nightmare
Since making money is all others care
In mid summer's night
This is the sincere man's plight.
