A Midnight In Shimoga Station. Poem by VINAYAK ADKOLI

A Midnight In Shimoga Station.

Fresh fumes coming from tea vessels.
May enter into your eyes or nearby persons.
When they mix with
Fumes of December winter.
Give you clear understanding of tea.
Deeply sleeping dogs
On the streets side
Are quite conversant with trucks
Driven by drunkards.
If you think something nearby Tumkur
Shimoga Government bus stand factors
Will not cry.
They have got their own wings.
Give you clear pictures of nearby
Shops, private bus station or
Watch able places in Shimoga.
Fearing birds like AIDS suddenly cry.
Sagar is not far behind.
May rain with thick clouds.
Watch the fumes coming from
Chimney of clay tiled Hotels
In the early morning
You will get clear idea
Of Malnad of Karnataka.
