A Million Lies, But Only One Truth Poem by Belinda Richmond

A Million Lies, But Only One Truth

Rating: 4.0

A MILLION LIES,
BUT ONLY ONE TRUTH;
I'm tired of your fibbing,
about to give
you the boot;
Out of all the MILLION LIES
you've told me, only
one is the truth.
Now, I'm tired of this
drama, so what are we
gonna do?
You've told me a Million
lies, but only one truth.
You've got me shedding
tears and feeling so blue.
You have fed me lies, but
one was true,
I had to put two and
two together,
NOW, I FINALLY GOTTA CLUE! ! !
You were finally truthful,
but that still wasn't enough.
Something wasn't right, and Things
weren't adding up.
A Million of your
LIES,
and only one of them
was the
TRUTH
Of all the lies you told,
it's hard to for me to
TRUST YOU.
They say that:
RELATIONSHIPS! ! ! ;
RELATIONSHIP ARE BUILT ON TRUST
If we Could work on that;
WE COULD BE A BETTER US! ! ! !
IF WE KEEP ON WORRKING HARD,
ONLY THE DEAR LORD KNOWS! !
WE COULD GAIN EACH OTHER'S TRUST,
TO THE POINT OF:
RELATIONSHIP GOALS! ! ! !
SO, LET'S NOT GIVE UP,
because, all that we could do is
TRY! !
So let's make this thing happen,
and stop living on these
LIES! ! ! !
