and a miracle happened
on an ordinary day
on a Monday or maybe a Wednesday
life happened
as swiftly as a blink
of an eye
or laughter
restless thoughts swell inside me
I soothe them with the single touch
of my fingers
I dream up names
and color of its eyes
I’m longing even though I know
we will never be closer
It knows everything about me
not knowing me at all
my miracle

written in the phases of the moon
I count the days till the first scream
