A Mistake Poem by Double AH

A Mistake

Rating: 4.5

I made a mistake.
I should've never looked your way.
Should've never wondered what you loved: what you liked.
Should've never taken a second glance.
But I did.
I looked, I wondered, I glanced, I wished.
Wished that you maybe you would understand my feelings for you.
Mistake.
I loved you; I love you.
Mistake.
Mistakes upon mistakes kept me stumbling after you.
But boy, don't you know that I love you?
I made mistakes, you made mistakes
But that doesn't mean that the tears I cried night after night was a mistake.
You made me feel, made me open up
My mistake.
Our connection is full of mistakes, but you are not a mistake.
Meeting you was the best thing I could've done.
I still look, I still wonder, I still glance, and I still wish
That you would do the same.
Realize that I still make mistakes, but I am someone who adores you.
Maybe wishing that is a mistake, but I don't care
You, my love, are the best mistake to be made.
