A Moment's Breath Poem by Richard D Remler

A Moment's Breath

Rating: 5.0

~~~~~~~~
I'll close my eyes...
Just today.
And in a moments breath,
I'll drift away
To linger in
That quiet shade,
And let the gentle
Tears cascade.
In that dark
And quiet place,
I'll hear your voice,
I'll see your face...
And lose myself,
This one last time,
With your sweet reflection
On my mind.
An invoking write. Missing someone can bring on the longing and sadness if they are far away or gone forever. The only consolation ist the memories that are captured in photographs.
