A Monorhyme On Teachers Day (About Teachers In A Lighter Vein!) Poem by Dr John Celes

A Monorhyme On Teachers Day (About Teachers In A Lighter Vein!)

Rating: 4.5

The satire
about teachers is that they aspire,
and the needed knowledge, they acquire
and to achieve excellence, they desire
and in the act of trying to inspire
their students, their life entire,
some do fail and invite some ire,
enforcing a certain attire,
unable to make most admire,
although they perspire
or overtire
or their students tire
or invite the management’s fire
or they retire
or even prematurely expire!

Nice poem on teachers. Good emotions are expressed here. I have also written a poem in Monorhyme on Teacher's devotion towards students. I am developing a new style of writing poetry where ending words of a line rhyme with one another, at least in last sound. I named it Pari Style. Hope readers will like it. Thanks to those invisible hands and fingers which supported and inspired me to continue my efforts in my new, creative, artistic and innovative “Pari” style.
