A Mountain That's A Lady Witch Poem by Karthika Mukundh

A Mountain That's A Lady Witch

One day I went to hear a mountain's song
which was translating
the nature's love.
Countless were its
laps and hands that
reached out to hug me.
As I kept watching the sky thro' the dragonfly's wings,
the mountain took me
in its arms and
sung a lullaby for me.
As I melt down in its love,
I fainted in its shadow
and tried to hug the mountain
like a neem flower
clinging on to its mother neem.

I wrote this poem in Tamil and my husband Mukundh Nagarajan translated it for me. Thanks to him.
