A New Beginning Poem by Jude Thadeus

A New Beginning

I am haunted by thirst from before…
Slowly yester-year ebbed away,
Trickling down on me drops of realization
Slowly washing away the pains and stains,
This is but a gentle detour on my way.

I see new cloud dancing above my head
Kissing my forehead with drops of Love
A new light shines and a new life begins.
I hold no more the memories of the gone,
It is time to let go the past,
And now look into the future.
Seasons have changed in a burst
I take a fresh step, perhaps a new beginning.
