A New Philosophy Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

A New Philosophy

Rating: 5.0

The day is dismal and gray as slate
There are no indications of a rebate
After spending all you’ve got to give
There are no second chances to relive

A little to late for changes and resolutions
With hindsight you reach obvious conclusions
What was… is now a sad memory for musing
Throw off the twisted noose that causes bruising

Begin with a new philosophy this very day
Let an internal glow brighten without delay
Allow the joys of life to melt away the clouds
Dissolving the cold resentment that shrouds

A lovely poem that expresses forgiveness well within. Thanks for sharing. Ravensong
